Plastic surgery · Paid ads
Plastic surgery PPC that books consultations
I build plastic surgery PPC around two or three procedures where a single case pays for a month of advertising, with creative that survives the health advertising rules and bidding that optimises toward consultations people actually attended.
You work with me, directly, one-on-one. No account managers, no juniors, no handoff.
Who this is for
- Surgeon-owned practices with procedures worth five figures.
- Practices where consultations are booked but too few of them show up or convert.
- Owners who want to know cost per surgical case, not cost per enquiry.
What usually goes wrong
Campaigns for everything the practice offers
Budget spreads across procedures with wildly different values, and the cheapest enquiries win the algorithm's attention.
Consultations counted as success
A booked consultation is not a case. No-show and conversion rates vary enormously, and bidding on bookings finds people who book easily.
Creative that cannot run
Results imagery and outcome promises are the two fastest routes to a disapproved account in this category.
What I run
- Procedure-level campaigns
- Two or three procedures, each with its own campaign, page and negatives.
- Compliant creative and landing pages
- Copy and imagery built to pass review the first time, with the gallery kept on your own site.
- Consultation tracking
- Attended consultations, not bookings, sent back as the primary signal.
- Microsoft Ads
- The same campaigns at lower cost per click once Google is stable.
- Reporting by procedure
- Cost per attended consultation and, where your data allows, per surgical case.
How it starts
- Week 1 Audit: account, creative history, tracking and the consultation-to-surgery path.
- Weeks 2 to 4 Rebuild by procedure. Fix capture, including the phone.
- Weeks 5 to 8 Attended consultations become the bidding signal.
- Month 3 onward Budget follows cost per case by procedure.
Proof
On my current healthcare programme I inherited an underperforming account and rebuilt it: cost per acquisition came down by about 78% while spend grew.
Talk to the person who will actually do it
The audit is $500 per ad account, comes with a 90-day plan, and is credited toward the first month if you continue with me. Retainers start at $5,000 a month, adjusted to budget and workload.
Where I am not the right fit. If consultations are booked but rarely attended, the deposit and reminder process is the first fix and it costs nothing. I will say so rather than sell you traffic.
Common questions
Which procedures should I advertise?
The two or three with the highest margin and real local search demand. Everything else can wait until those are profitable.
Can I use before-and-after photos in ads?
On your website, with consent, yes. In ad creative they are a frequent cause of disapproval in this category.
What is a realistic cost per consultation?
It varies severalfold by city and procedure. Build a four-week baseline from your own account rather than using a published figure.
Do you track to surgery, not just consultation?
Where your practice management data allows it, yes. Otherwise attended consultation is the primary signal and surgery is reported separately.
Do you handle disapprovals?
Yes. Policy work is part of running a cosmetic account, not an escalation.
How long until it stabilises?
Traffic in days, a reliable cost per attended consultation in one to three months.
